Carmel Popcorn


*Recipe from my mom-DeeAnne Godfrey
Ingredients:
3 bags microwave popcorn
1 cup white Karo syrup
2 cups brown sugar
2 cubes butter
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Pop 3 bags of microwave popcorn.
Put each bag of popped corn in a bowl and separate the popcorn and the old maids. Put all the popcorn in a big bowl and set aside.
In a pot add  karo syrup and  brown sugar---stir together over medium heat till mixed then, bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute,
Add  butter, stir until melted--add soda and stir well. .
Pour over  popcorn.
